Normally, I would do this through the Bose Connect app but it appears that the app is not available on the Windows platform. And, the solution is actually not provided by Bose. The solution provided by Bose was the most complex procedure I have ever heard of. There needs to be some firmware updates to correct the issue. Bose customer care acts as if they dont know any problem about this and blames on Windows 10 OS that it has some issues.

Can this update be accomplished on both PCs and Macs?

Yes. The PC or Mac used for the update must meet the minimum system requirements found on the download site.

How do I connect my Bose® Bluetooth® headset to my PC/Mac?

You can use the USB charging cable provided with the headset. Or, use any USB to micro-USB cable you may have, usually supplied with a digital camera or GPS.

Will this update affect my computer in any way?

While the application is running, it will create and utilise temporary working files. When the application has finished and closed, it will remove all temporary working files, leaving behind the driver and the downloaded application file (Windows machines only). The application file can be deleted from your computer after the update is complete, but we recommend leaving the driver installed on your computer to make future upgrades easier.
